General International Group is hiring an experienced Fire & Life Safety Design Engineer / Draftsman for its Dubai office. The role is part of the company’s Design & Projects team and focuses on preparing fire and life safety designs, cost estimates and shop drawings.

Responsibilities
- Prepare designs, cost estimates and detailed shop drawings for Fire & Life Safety systems.
- Follow NFPA standards and the UAE Fire & Life Safety Code of Practice.
- Use AutoCAD and Revit for design and drafting work.
- Review project inquiries, drawings, estimates and quantity take-offs.
- Coordinate with design, project and client teams and maintain design records.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of experience in Fire & Life Safety design and drafting.
- Working knowledge of NFPA standards and UAE fire safety regulations.
- Experience with fire fighting, suppression, fire alarm, voice evacuation and emergency lighting systems.
- Strong AutoCAD and Revit skills; BIM and ELV knowledge are an advantage.
